REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL FOR DEVELOPMENT OF INVESTMENT AREA UNDER PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIP AT TABATA BIMA.
The Kariakoo Markets Corporation owns various plots and intends to develop the area under PPP investment programme. Interested eligible investors are highly invited to submit their detailed proposal in order to enter into partnership with Kariakoo Market Corporation. The procurement procedures will be conducted through restricted tendering Method.
Here follows brief information of the proposed sites;
TABATA BIMA (PLOT No.111-118 BLOCK D PART III TABATA COVERING 5625 SQUARE METERS).
The area is situated at TABATA BIMA, opposite St Mary’s Schools and the off road Mandela Road. The area is approximately 4kms from the City Center and lies along Tabata Road.
The Proposed development aims at the construction of a multifunction Business Complex of not less than 3 storey to accommodate a one stop center including Super Market, retail and Whole sale shops, shopping malls, Restaurants, Offices, Banking halls, Car parking, Sports Center, games facilities etc.
General Conditions.
Interested Local Investors are hereby requested to submit their Proposals to invest in partnership with Kariakoo Market Corporation.
1. Applicants are advised to visit the site in order to undertake feasibility study for the proposed project and submit design concept for the relevant project. Applicant’s ideas and Proposal are equally encouraged for the investment betterment.
2. Applicant must demonstrate capacity to provide financial resources for smooth implementation of the project as such should state sources of funds and when the financial resources shall be available.
3. Application should provide a profile of the Company showing types of investments under-taken as related to the proposed development, Cvs of Directors and associations with other Companies (if any).
4. The Procurement Process will comply with Public Private Partnership Act 2010, Public Private Partnership Regulation 2011, Public Procurement Act 2011 and Public Procurement Regulations 2013 whereby the selection will involve preliminary, Technical and Financial evaluations.
5. The proposal should be submitted using the address shown below not later than 07th May 2015 at 10:00hrs, at PMU’s office Room No.112 within Kariakoo Main Market Complex and shall be opened on the same day at 10:00hrs within Kariakoo Market board room in the presence of interested parties or their representatives. Late Proposals shall not be accepted for evaluation irrespective of the circumstances.
